I lost my nursing job after 6 months of trying to struggle to hold onto it. I had offered it up to the LOrd at a retreat, telling Him that if it was hIS WILL TO TAKE IT TO PLEASE DO SO AND WITHIN THE WEEK IT WAS GONE.I have been trusting in Him to help me find another job more suited to my physical abilities. He has provided me with plenty in the way of unemployment insurance to meet my every need. I look daily on the internet for jobs and have applied for several but to no avail so far. I know He is holding me in the palm of His hand and that He will prepare the way for me.He has never forsaken me in any of the other trials I have met with in my life and He is not about to now.I continue to Cling to my verse Jer 29:11 and take it one day at a time with my eyes fixed on Jesus.

Comment on Rejection is God’s Protection by Lady Cliche

I came across this article because I searched for scriptures of how Jesus dealt with rejection. I learned that when his own people rejected him he did not stay in their midst. He went where he was accepted. Also, noted in Isiah 53, that he was rejected, bruised, and tormented by men. His journey here was for the mission of showing people how to live righteously despite the unrighteousness around them; and ultimately to convey that no matter what, he loves all and has given his life so that all may have the opportunity to live eternally. I myself had been dealing with rejection. I couldn't understand it. But I have learned so much within the passed 3 years of what I noticed about what was going on in my life and is now paying attention. First of all, you have signs of someone who would reject you. You may love this person and have been in relationship with them for years. Nevertheless, people only reject what they don't like. It can be what they don't like about themself or others. Also, if they are having emotional problems that they can't face or deal with they will reject you if you display the same. Even if they have emotional issues if all parties are are determined, it can be worked out. Don't subject yourself to the rejection. This relationship can be very harmful to.oneself. Do as Jesus did and pray for them. Sometime it's just, who you thought was your friend, really wasn't. I have taken some marriage counseling courses and learned that relationship equality across the board is important. Communication and honesty a must. If not, rejection is likely to happen. As, I thought about it, all who rejected me was not good for me. Think about it, and you would see that you must go where you are accepted, celebrated, and appreciated and respected. Note friend vs enemy. We are encouraged by God to love our enemies, do good to those who hates us, bless those who curses us, and pray for those who despitefully uses and persecute us. Never expect anything good from an enemy. But show good to them. But, God in his time and way says he will make your enemies to be at peace wirh you and cause them to be a resting place for your feet. Find safe people and avoid unsafe people. Read book "Safe People" by Dr. Henry Cloud. It will help you understand how you are unsafe and why; and how to notice unsafe people and safe people and how to find them. My advice, do like Jesus did, leave and go where you are accepted. It is vital to find those who accept you with your weakness and emotional ills- whot would help you through the journey of overcoming. Jesis even instructed his diciples to go away and take their blessing from those who rejected them. Jesus, in the human form of God couldn't stand it. So, how could you. It's not good. Follow his way. God's Holy Spirit, on the otherhand, thrives with those who rejects Him. His ultimate goal is for all to receive him. But, has gone away from those who totally, harshly rejects him. So, pray for the individual(s) and move on. Thanks for the article, because it confirmed what I was trying to accept. That is whatever and whomever rejects you is not good for you at the time. If the same opportunity or person comes back around, examine closely the pros and cons. Pay attention to motives, sincerity and the williness of honesty. BE MORE CAREFUL!! Finally, love on yourself, do things that makes you know that you are valudable. Then you will be able to be more obedient to God's command, to esteem-value others higher than you do yourself without having any problems. Any other reason to love yourself is VANITY. Love self, so to lbe able to ove others more. Philippians 2:3.

Sometimes we do get impatient with ourselves, seeing so many flaws we want to get rid of as soon as possible. We do need patience however, and wait upon God's perfect timing. He will complete the good work He has begun!
